so the man who wants to run the league failed to make a profit despite winning it and breaches the cap by hiding payments to agents.

The delusion on the Wigan board is staggering. Apparently Wigan and RL in general are the victim here, with the RFL the perpetrators.

It’s bizarre it really is.

The hysterics over there are hilarious! Apparently the season is ruined. It's a vendetta against Lenegan by the RFL. Other clubs have only been fined for similar offences (even 3rd strikers?) and the crowning moan in the whingefest that the eventual winners achievement may be devalued!! Talk about having an over-inflated opinion of yourself! Can't be many sports governing bodies that would tolerate 3rd time offenders with such a paltry punishment but they still think they are being persecuted. Don't do the crime...etc

This is about revenge. Make no mistake about that. The problem is, in exacting that revenge, they've consigned the season to a farce even before a ball has been kicked or passed. Just asked yourself what the main topic of conversation will be on the sky commentary throughout this season? Will it be about the product on the field as it should be or will everything be viewed in context of this points deduction? We know the answer to that question.
