Golding is a Leeds lad and wanted to stay and fight for a place. He will be a decent Super League full back wherever he ends up.

Maybe a move to Wakey for Golding as cover for Johnstone? Not sure he'd want to be stuck out on the wing but the offer of more chance of game time might be one he can't turn down.

I believe Goldings on a very decent contract and that is itself the problem. No other club is willing to offer him anything close to it and he's playing hardball with Leeds, willing to play out the remainder of the contract at Fev or wherever. You cant blame the lad.

Not at all. If he really doesn't figure then it might be worth the club subsidising his contract elsewhere, but a couple of injuries and he could be back in the side this year.

£65K a year to play Championship RL isn't a bad deal for another 3 years. But where will he go then?

It makes no difference he has a young family and if you say he is on £65k contract then why would he move. While at Leeds on this contract he is playing at FEV and also getting his coaching badges. He is also coaching Stanningley ARLC. Overall if he is earning £65kpa its not bad, he playing rugby, he's learning and why would he or anyone walk out on this sort of contract. Good for the lad. We are the biggest mug club in SL. We never learn no wonder we are where we are.
