Look at hulls points difference, were nearly 70 points above them

Saints are head and shoulders above everyone except when it comes to finals

Wigan will win it this year IMO

Sport and RL is unpredictable. Saints are the best side but they’re not forced to win every big game.

Even our Goldens only won the treble once (hell of an achievement). They lost some big games too.

You just put the best side together that you can, control what you can, and then leave the rest to Lady Luck.

I don’t think we are far off top 5 at all. People will have to be patient: the wheels have been coming off since 2015 or before. We are not going to fix this in one or probably two years now. What we can’t afford is to make even more obviously poor decisions around recruitment though. And we need to use this precious planning time, now we’re safe, to good effect and not fall in love with where we’re at.

I thought they were the worse Wigan side I’ve seen in a very long time when they played us at HQ a while back.

They have improved but i agree not the Wigan of the Wane era.

I see why people are making them favourites though. Still plenty of big game nous in the squad led by lockers. Feels a bit like us getting Cas in 2017.
