Maybe the game needs to take a slight risk and further engage with the Hearns to get some money into the game. It might be worthwhile

Weve had top 5 ,then top 8 ,middle 8 now bottom place relegated, now taking of no relegation and go back to licensing. Oh and what was the criteria for licensing? Standard of facilities at stadiums must be upgraded or lose license then some other club comes in with dreams of unobtainable wealth. I just hope the next change that comes in they give it a time limit before changing back
Soon we will be dancing the Fandango

FROM 2004,TO DO WHAT THIS CLUB'S DONE,IF THATS NOT GREATNESS THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS.

Anybody who thinks its good for the sport to have almost half the teams in the top flight not sure which league they're playing in with just 4 games to go needs their head checking.

None of these sides can safely plan for next year, none will be able to give a few kids a game to see how they go. And we complain about short-term thinking.

Said this a while back. Been particularly difficult for us.

Can't afford to lose another Bradford.

Stuff criteria for licensing. Pick the 14 clubs that are going to give us the strongest competition and scope for growth with a mixture of traditional and expansion clubs. When Super League clubs have been there donkeys years, play in dumps, produce no players and have next to no fans it’s madness to stick with them, time to be bold, 14 clubs, no promotion or relegation.

Bradford
Castleford
Catalans
Huddersfield
Hull fc
Hull kr
London
Leeds
Newcastle
Saints
Toulouse
Warrington
Wigan

I think its all pie in the sky stuff, the people who think having a Canadian team in SL is the way forward are highly unlikely to get it right !

I'd agree with most of this.

York for me is a very sensible step. It is a reasonably big city with decent catchment. Newcastle - I would need some convincing after Gateshead Thunder.

Derbies are so important to get the crowds maximised and interested, and to generate media interest. They're also helpful for revenue-generating friendlies in the closed season. So yes, 2x Hull clubs, 2x French clubs, Leeds v Bradford back (to be fair we are everyone's derby!). Bradford need a home first though and personally I've always hated Odsal.
