Huge injury list for Wakefield for this game.

Miller, Johnstone, Tupou, Arundel, Brough, Fifita, Randell, Huby, Ashurst, Batchelor and England.

Wakey do look a bit busted, a moral bousting win today and stay injury free and hopefully at keast Merrin back Monday, think we can get this one. A bad defeat again today and its curtains for confindence.

Wakefield have a few injuries, as do Leeds, Wakefield also have an extra day turnaround with playing Thursday as opposed to Friday. Either way we can’t afford to lose this must win game.

The script is set for a Wakefield win against the odds of their injury adversity. Leeds need to show more desire than Wakey to win this one IMO.

Are all those confirmed as out for Monday though?

Wakefield currently sit in 5th place, the last play off spot. After today’s win, if we go on to beat them on Monday, we could well get up to 5th by round 29. Who knows what could happen from there, we’ve won it from 5th before in similar circumstances.

Liking your optimism but I’ll be happy if we’re anywhere from 10th and above, I would like us to be pretty much guaranteed safety with a few games to go (ideally 8+ to take a bit of pressure off)

By next Sunday evening the table could look quite differently. Should Leeds manage to win on Monday at Wakey and on Sunday at home to HKR, we could easily be in 9th and only a couple of wins off the play offs.

Whilst I don’t expect any success in the next year or two, things probably aren’t as bad as they’ve seemed lately either.

Aside from the top two, the rest of the league looks pretty even really. A win on Monday would have us looking to start a good run. A bit of confidence and still have some bodies to come back in and e can get a decent run together

It’s a really interesting season, look at Warrington today hammered by Salford.

Then look at Hull, battered by Warrington yet turn that around a few weeks later with a hammering of Hull KR and they are only 2 points away from 2nd

Im not being disrespectful especially as they beat us but I think London getting promoted has probably taken the pressure off a bit, they set off all guns blazing but realistically probably haven’t got enough to compete in the long run
