The silence from the club is getting scarier and scarier to be honest. They really are rotten, Sinfield was not lying there.

Previous years, Hetherington can't keep his gob shut, now he has gone into hiding. I would have thought, considering the piece yesterday on the ex Leeds players all having their view on the danger for the club, that some response would have been forthcoming, but nothing. The arrogance at top level is astounding at times. Lets not forget whilst also running down the Rhinos for the last few years, that Hetherington has also failed in the same period big time with the union outfit. That is not a good current record at all, for all his good work in his first 15 years at Leeds.

Could this mean that perhaps Powell is the chosen one?

You know what, I think it just might be. I notice in a recent YEP article Barrie Mac hopes it will be Powell - insider information? If it is I'd imagine Powell will want to see out the year with Cas, leave the current predicament at the club to Agar to sort out, and then come in with a full pre-season ahead of him for 2020. Just speculation mind!

He would need to he recruiting and making decisions on deadwood now though, even with a pre season if there is that much dross/injury afflicted/too old players there. Pre season with powell wont do much, major surgery is needed.

He appointed KS to DOR a job that he included with his COE duties tells me he is getting a bit fatigued as we all do as we get older. Mr Caxdick too not getting any younger . Maybe the club could do with new investors coming in and taking over and gi e the club some new vibrancy. Just a thought

Caddick had new investors three years back, and Hetherington stopped it all to take a greater share himself along with a couple of others. Hence, why Caddick has had nothing to do with the union side over last three years, and very little with the Rhinos.

I don't now what to make of Sheens as don't know much about the set up at Hull KR, but do you think for a coach of his standing I'm not sure I would consider his term at Hull KR a huge success?

Yes I've mixed feelings about Sheens. Has been a great coach but gut feeling is hes had his time but no doubting his class

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

Lots of people pretending they know what's going on in this thread whilst simultaneously expressing concern that they don't know what's going on.

Rushing into the next appointment would be madness. Agar is a safe pair of hands for now whilst they work out what's the best option going forward. They're certainly not going to give a blow by blow account to keep people on here happy.

precisely, nobody knows whats going on at training, Agar will be coach for at least the next 4 -6 games and maybe even rest of the season, if the club is happy that the players are now putting the effort in off the field and genuinely looking to fix it then so be it, may take 3-4 more games before we really see an upward curve. The club do not have to give us a running update on whats going on, they have stated Agar is the man for the time being and we have to accept that. only thing that matters is we beat London and then get some back to back wins and put some space away from bottom spot to ease the pressure..
