"...To those people that wrote this team off...
to all those that criticised this team...
tonight's for you"

We all know how the club works with regards to transfer dealings and not declaring any information until a deal is completed.
It would not be a surprise for the club to call a press conference in the very near future and announce that they have identified and signed our new coach and here he is

Although if a new coach isn't announced this season would it imply that our chosen coach is currently employed but is willing to join us for 2020?
This scenario would then potentially rule out the unemployed Flanagan (Ex Cronulla) and Wane

Could this mean that perhaps Powell is the chosen one?

Plenty of options to discuss here

Apart from people on here, where has the club said the job is Agars long term? He’s even said he doesn’t want it long term.

You do realise the club could be well on in there search for the next Manager, funnily enough they don’t have to run everything past posters on an internet forum, or the press for that matter.

Rushing in a coach to appease fans now would not be the sensible thing to do.

All the noises coming out of headingley are that agar is here for a while yet. Sinfield said the same to Brian Carney. That in my opinion isn't good. But I may be wrong and hope I am..

He will be there until the next coach is found, what else would you suggest they do? He is the most experienced coach on the staff so was the obvious choice until a new coach is found.

Of course he is and that's fine. The club just need to bloody hurry up and get it sorted. If the plan is to keep agar for several months then that's what I've got a problem with

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Perhaps the announcement that Sheens is not staying at Hull KR is significant

It's obvious we are a poor team ,but when we were a good team we used to come up against poor teams who raised their game and put in a great effort when they played us. If I saw that from Leeds I would think well that's a start ,we look to be on the road back ,weve found some heart ,but its same every game.

I don't now what to make of Sheens as don't know much about the set up at Hull KR, but do you think for a coach of his standing I'm not sure I would consider his term at Hull KR a huge success?
