It's time for Sinfield to look at his own position, how a man with so little knowledge in coaching players was given such an important position at the Rhinos without any relevant experience beggars belief. Look at his signings, that of coach and players and the handing out of contracts to old players and you soon see why we are in this position. He was a great leader on the pitch , but his lack of experience in this role is clearly showing. GH was clever giving him this role, it took all the pressure of him and passed it over to Sinfield and his performance so far in this role is abysmal. He is the one under pressure. His style of man management has been awful, it's clear to everyone that there a is cancer in the camp, and has been caused by both Furner, Sinfield and some of the old senior players and so far Furner has gone. You soon learn in management that if you disrespect the players before long they start to disrespect you and you can see this happening.
Only an idiot goes to the press before a cup tie and tells the press that the contract for JL is not being renewed. You cannot write this script, no wonder the players are vexed off.

If we are having a clear out, start with the old boys network, Sinfield, JP, Ablett, JJB, and get a coach with no Rhinos connection, everyone starts with a clean slate, if this isn't sorted out the team will be playing in a half empty stadium next season.
We are living a nightmare caused by the management team in their decision making.

I said on the VT that I don't have a problem if Sinfield is shown the door if he can't turn things around. The club owes him and the rest of the Golden Generation nothing except admiration and respect for past glories. They were well paid and have multiple winners' rings to show for their efforts. The club does not owe them jobs for life, particularly at the expense of the current team.

I agree but when Sinfield has clearly been employed to turn round the rugby side of things over period of time, he should be given that time, unless something drastic happened like relegation.

A luxury he wasn't prepared to grant Furner, mind.

RL has progressed to card payments rather than brown envelopes?

From what I've been told tonight there is nobody in the pipeline for the coaching job and Agar is very much in with a decent run at it.
