Assume people have seen the message from GH posted on the website.
I know he probably felt like he had to say something and acknowledge yesterday and the awful season we are in but what a poor message. Said absolutely nothing in it other than Sinny is working on the future.
Theres a bit of damned if he did/damned if he didn't say anything but whoever works the PR side has not done him any favours.
He’s basically saying trust us we will sort this but we’re not saying how. Well Gary, given the last few years of complete tripe, trust is something that you will probably find is in short supply until people actually see the improvements in performance on the field.
No one is naive enough to think that this bunch of players could actually win something, but they are educated enough to know when people are not trying. The current squad is rotten, and adding bargain basement players like Albert to the squad isn’t going to change that.
If you want people to trust you, make a proper statement, with actions not words. Give them something to be proud of, you’ve made so many mistakes in the last 4 years, it’s about the only way you’ll be able to win back their trust.

What specifically would you have wanting him to say?
Well it would probably go a long way if he came clean about the way the transition has been handled and how the club need the fans to support them because this is the only way to raise the revenue needed to improve the quality and depth of the playing squad.
We need a bit of honesty to rebuild the trust, and all he’s said is “blah blah, Kevin, blah blah...”
