I was actually meaning the half time one, who also sang before game. But yes now you mention it, that too was pretty poor.

We are in trouble because we aren’t physical enough; that’s why Bradford were able to beat us. Too many young lads at once and too few physically dominant seniors meaning we get bossed every week.

Wilkin was right in commentary when he said Leeds are one extreme or the other: predictable one out play where we’re all bunched up round the ruck like U12s, or throwing it about like a hot potato hoping to create magic. There’s not much in the middle.

Ava looks good but that pack is still not right. All the top sides have significantly better packs than we do. We look in desperate need of a real 6 with an all-round game including kicking. Watkins.... looks to me like McGuire after he did his knee playing Wigan, but he plays a position where pace is still necessary.

Only decent go forward was after Parcell try. Didn't last long. I think we need to focus on defense to keep us in games.

A neutrals(ish) perspective.

I thought Handley was your best player tonight. He will never be a world beater, but he looks like he really cares.

Newman looks like a proper player. Just hope for his sake that your current situation doesn't stifle him. Coming into a struggling team is never ideal for a young players development imo.

Ava looks good, and whilst Peteru rarely gets anything positive said about him I thought he was decent tonight. In fact he has been one of your better players more often than not when I have watched you. The rest of the pack may aswell have not bothered.

The effort was a little better, but after last week I expected to see a team that was ready to run through walls to win the game. There was nothing of the sort.

Exactly mate, wonder if Parcell will cop a ban for contact with ref? haven't watched it back yet.

No direction from hooker and no organisation or running threat from your halfs and your kicking game is awful. the only thing that could make it worse is being coached by agar.

Long may it continue

Agree with Gotcha’s summary in that I thought we were a bit better than the score line suggested.

Also agree on Newman. When Hurrell is fit we should drop Watkins and play him at Featherstone to regain his confidence/fitness. That’s not a slight towards him, he’s recovering from a very bad injury. If this was the NRL he’d be playing in their 2nd tier to recover before going back to 1st grade so let’s do the same.

Also very impressed with McLelland for a young lad. Play him and Myler as halves going forward. He’ll make mistakes, but I’d rather he did than an experienced player as he’ll learn from it.

Ava looks a decent signing. Adds some size and impact when he runs it in.

We’re desperately missing some strike out wide though. Hurrell will bring that but we’re missing some dynamism in the 2nd row.

Thought Peteru got through some decent work but is lacking a good prop partner. Singleton again did nothing.

The team looked a lot better to me with Parcell at 9 rather than Dwyer.

Nah, he was past Kendall and Kendall tripped himself and Parcell up. Didnt even speak to Parcell about it.

Oh and Kendall was embarrassingly poor for both sides.

That singer was terrible, he hit fewer notes than Myler made complete tackles.

Still no idea why we had Land of Hope and Glory sung before the game.

He shouldn’t that was 100% Kendalls fault he was in the wrong position nothing Parcell could do
