To be fair Agar wouldn't be the only coach to go for the 'safe' option of Sutcliffe. The thing is we're well past the point of safe being right. It may pay off vs London but its only a matter of time before Sutcliffe disappears again and we have to give McLelland another go anyway.

Never be surprised by the conservatism of coaches.

Can’t fault the effort here at least. Plenty of that, and desire. Just stupidity and poor kicking. How many missed tackles has Oledski made in that last 10 mins though?

Its garbage against garbage , sign a halfback or two would be a start . You would think 10 points up would bring confidence but all it brought was stupidity .

The continuing stupidity is bizarre it really is. I suppose that is down to the poor calibre of players we have.. they just never learn

I get what you're saying regarding effort but conversely all the penalties are down to real laziness.

i can pick out loads of lack of effort in that half , just watch closely or watch the game back after . The most glaring was Suttys laziness to get square at the play the ball .

Look fragile again, they score first this half and can see us collapsing again, we looked like we were hanging on last 20 mins of that half. Need a big second half and really strangle the life out and of them and put the game out of site, but I cannot see us pulling away, if we can and win think it will be very very close. We are an awful Side.
