Agree Marty and IMO Sam Walters also deserves his chance too when fit as he is a cracking player and has a great future for us
I'm far more excited thinking about our clubs future with our current academy players waiting in the wings than some of the dross currently occupying places in our squad

SL survival will be my only concern for the rest of this season irrespective of how good or bad we perform each week,It's a shame but sadly that is where the Rhinos are currently

Well said Biff. Walters is back tomorrow at Saints. Looks a really shrewd buy tho O'Connor looks terrible who was signed in same deal.

Bit early for Walters I think but hes a good prospect along with a few others in that 19s pack.

The club has a great future but it has to start now getting these kids in.

Why on earth was Hurrell brought in for the Bulls game? Ridiculous decision by the coach (who doesn't want the job but secretly thought a win v. The bulls would be a feather in his cap)

The neutrals in the stadium will be baying for Leeds blood.

I'm absolutely dreading this game.

Alex Sutcliffe was getting multiple congratulations from fellow players on his timeline and isn't in the squad for Fev's game, so it sounds like he might be in the 17. From what I've seen at Fev, he doesn't look like a SL player at this stage of his career in attack, at least at centre - he might if he is able to bulk up and then focusses on being a back-rower - but his defence at Fev has been excellent. He's only 20, of course.

Both McLelland and Trout in 19s today.

Good. That means L. Sutcliffe won't be in the 2nd row. Just need to drop C. Smith now.

Good to hear A. Sutcliffe can defend. Just what we need.

Actually, we could start A. Sutcliffe in the centres. Try Watkins in the 2nd row again, and play Dwyer at Stand Off. Not too different to when Joel played there.

Assume the means Sutcliffe back to half. When will this club ever learn. The perseverance with that utter rubbish player goes beyond a joke. They keep talking about solving problems, and don’t see that ever since he came into the first team we have gone backwards. Only time we turned it around is when he was out injured.

I couldn't agree more. What's his best position?

Fullback? Nope
Centre? Nope
5/8? Nope
Second row? Nope

I just don't think he's good enough for SL to be honest. He's used as a utility player because we have no idea which position he plays best in.

Yep...he’s had so many chances at HB you’d have thought someone at the top would have realised by now that he simply isn’t a HB and never will be.

It’s like someone is so desperate for it to work that they keep going back to him even though they’ve tried him there and then moved him to centre/full back/2nd row/HB again and so the pattern continues....it’s like Groundhog Day.

Slap in the face for young McLelland. He gets 2 games and then gets axed whilst Sutcliffe has been tried and failed so many times at HB

Sutcliffe at SO seems like Sinfield is picking the team as he's the only one that thinks he has a future there along with Myler as his half back partner ffs.
