Singleton offers nothing and can’t keep his place IMO. Are any of Peteru, Albert, Crosby or Holroyd fit?

And Walker/Golding at full back instead of Lolohea.

Thought Lolohea was good on Friday but wouldn’t have him in front of Walker if fit of course. Peteru still got about 4-6 weeks, Crosby had a issue with his injury which is keeping him out for longer. Albert played for Featherstone the other week to get some match fitness and Holroyd got another injury at the weekend in the under 19s game.

If Walker is 100% fit I'd go with

Walker
T.Briscoe
Newman
Hurrell
Handley
Sutcliffe
Myler
Seamanufagai
Dwyer
Cuthbertson
Smith
Watkins
Merrin

Subs

Lolohea
Oldezki
Donaldson
Albert

Singleton was poor again on Friday stats wise and has been all season and doesn't deserve a spot, Ferres I thought was good defensively Against Wakefield but in attack he come up with a few errors and wasn't effective, but no doubt both will play against Wigan. Lolohea was poor against Wakefield too many errors returning ball and was quite poor in positioning on last tackle plays Handley and Briscoe had to clean up a lot of last tackle kicks put though by Wakefield, but he produced a moment of magic when we needed it so coming of the bench to do a stint in halves or hooker could benefit him and the team.

In that case

Walker
Briscoe Newman Hurrell Handley
Sutcliffe Myler
Seumanufagai Dwyer Oledski
Watkins Ferres
Merrin

Albert Smith Cuthbertson Donaldson

Lolohea is set to play for Tonga next weekend so might mean he misses next couple of games for us? Which might be a good thing how he's been playing this season, just shows how short teams like Tonga are on halves and spine players when Lolohea still gets in with how dreadful he's been for us this year.

Lolohea at hooker? Would he stand on one of the wings in defence like Rob Burrow used to?

Well, Walker definitely gets FB as first choice. If Sutcliffe is preferred to Tui at 6 then really the writing should be on the wall. There is nowhere on the rugby field you can hide a player who can't or won't defend.
If Tui is played at 6 then if I was Wigan I'd be at him all game.
FB is Tui's best position I think but that leaves him as an expensive luxury back up to Walker - although Walker is looking a bit injury-prone to be fair.
I wouldn't expect any changes from the Wakefield side except to make room for Walker? Unless Ward is fit again.

I took my lad swimming at the weekend & Ward was there, still seemed to be limping.....maybe stubbed his toe, so don't shoot the messenger.
