Indeed....

Come one, come all.

Just keep the "banter" clean and we'll have no problems.

Have to disagree with people who wouldn’t watch Leeds in the lower division. Of course that happens (Bradford are a few short compared to their SL years..).
To me the whole point of watching a side in RL is the connection and the loyalty. The lads who take the pitch are doing their best for the club.
I’d rather share the terraces (or seats now) with supporters than with people who can’t handle losing.
We’ll have a good side again - relegation would set us back but with better recruitment Leeds are still a great club.
People go on about lining GH’s pockets but the truth is you just want to pay to see a side who wins.

I remember Leeds getting regular crowds of 4-6k in the mid to late 80s. A lean period and you will certainly see them fall. No club is immune. People generally go because they enjoy it. Once that stops you lose a lot and you end up with just the hardcore. That’s when the nuttier followers start to stand out more too. I think that’s why nobody stands near me at Odsal anyway.

You are correct. 10-12k was considered a very good crowd back then in a regular league game.

I also remember a 24,000 in a CC game against Bradford Northern though, early 90s

No doubt I will continue to watch the Rhinos which ever division they are in, what I will not be doing is spending money on a table in the directors suite to watch the likes of Dewsbury (no disrespect to them or other teams in this division) but I have better things to do with my hard earned money. Its a shame GH and KS could not have worked as hard. Guys I am open to criticism, but just over half way through the season and the Headingley Marketing team are already on my case asking me to have a meeting.
New half back in place for the next home game.
