Unless we have some really great young ones ready to come through it's going take take a long long time to the 2004 2015 level if ever . Right now to have aspirations of competing and winning to occasional trophy is reasonable

Aside from the fact I wouldn't wipe my arris with that rag there is little really in this.

I remain uninterested in the numbers getting chucked about, they are all rubbish and ultimately of little consequence as one thing I do trust heatherington with is balancing the books.

If we were to get both Lui and Hastings (this season or next - preferably this) that would be a good piece of business. They know SL, they already play together so the bedding in period is much easier.

Problem is, we still have Myler for next year, Tui for two years and I'm not sure on sutty but guess he has at least another year. I'd keep sutty given his utility value but the other two would have to go with McClelland providing hb cover.

Sutty has a deal for another 2/3yr. Myler should leave at the end of the season if we do bring Hastings in

What's impressive though is how well progressed Salford appear to be in building a squad for next season, and there are the beginnings of a solid 19 in there, if of course an article in the Scum is to be believed...
