I'm not sure. At the time we signed Parcell we were desperate; Segeyaro had left us in the lurch and I would imagine we dangled a pretty big carrot to get Matt across here.
A good deal for both clubs in the circumstances.

I object, I had nothing to do with it

He seems way out of his depth. Wanted to get rid off three perfectly good players in Garbutt, Keinhorst and Parcell this season yet keep Ablett and JJB.

Didn't Keinhorst go before McDermott left? Don't think you can blame Sinfield for that one.

In regards to Parcell, I've heard he's one of the bad influences we wanted rid of in the changing room.

Without any in depth knowledge on those players contracts you have no idea the reasons why but I can guess a few, and Garbutt and Keinhorst have really turned KR's season around haven't they, Garbutt has been injured and I believe Keinhorst dropped recently.

JJB this was always going to be his last year and I'm not sure you can blame Sinfield for Ablett being injured.

Parcell and Garbutt both count on our Quota which can be better utilised elsewhere.

A sensible post? No... Surely not. Not having it.

He wasnt a popular team mate at Manly either IIRC. No smoke without fire.

Don't know what to say to people who think this is a good deal.

I don't think anyone is saying its good stand alone? Its more about freeing up a quota spot isn't it?

Unless someone is coming in now it's the most stupid deal ever. If not wait till the end of the season and don't swap a good young fit player for a old injured one with your relegation rivals. It beggars belief.

Then it'd be better to wait and see than condemn it today wouldn't it?

I don't recall anyone suggesting that Parcell was a bad influence in the squad until today?
Strange that.

That's not quite true. It was actually reported a few weeks back when the rumours came out. I have to say, he never comes across like that in anyway, but is there really no smoke without fire? the rumours say completely different to how it comes across.
