I'm really pleased for Ash and wish him all the best with Huddersfield, I hope he goes really well. You can say what you like about his abilities vs Walker and he gets a lot of stick on here but the way he conducts himself, his commitment and his all round professionalism is first class. He could certainly teach one or two of the rest of the squad a thing or two in that regard.

The correct decision by the club and Ashton.

A massive Leeds fan and he really genuinely showed he cared and loves the club.

I genuinely hope he flourishes at Huddersfield and has a fantastic RL career.

Really nice kid.

Good luck to him.

Lessons need to be learnt from this debacle tho. We should not be handing out 5yr deals to anyone.

Should never have been given such a long term deal but all the best to Ash a model pro who gives his all, best move for both player and club

Right outcome for club and player, thanks for your efforts Ashton, good luck for the future.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Pleased for Ashton, he deserves to be a week in week out Super League full back

Fantastic attitude, and seems like a great bloke. Let's hope he goes on to have a really good super league career.

Who knows, he may be in the same position as Luke Gale in a few years time and find himself back with us.
