It will be very interesting to see how he goes. He clearly hasn't got the speed of Parcell, but he might add more than some people think if he can play smarter for us than other options at 9.

I liked what i saw from Lunt the last time he was with us. Can't say i have followed him too closely since but he strikes me as the kind of character you would want in your 17 for this situation so not a bad move for me.

He was also KRs captain for a fair while, we are lacking leaders he could do a job in that respect

I suspect the club is planning 100% around the development of Johnson into a real quality hooker, and they see Lunt as an experienced head to assist with that. It isn't just about what Lunt may or may not do on the field.
The 1-year deal for Dwyer makes me think Leeds are basically saying he has this time to prove he can improve the weaknesses in his game.
One of the problems has been that both Dwyer and Parcell are running hookers who thrive off a quick ruck, and we don't have a Plan B when our pack isn't on top (quite often). Lunt when he does play could be a more steadying influence in the middle when the going is tougher.

I was impressed with Lunt when he was here last time. Quick accurate pass from dummy half, he may also provide some leadership which we are crying out for.
The question marks are against his injury and illness record . Not good in recent years?

Confirmed on Hull KR official page...Parcell on loan to them till end of season.

Too much to expect a press reases from us?

Interesting that it's only a loan, i reckon he wants to go back to the NRL and didn't want to tie himself into a contract, however doesn't that mean we still have him contracted for next year?

Here you go

https://www.therhinos.co.uk/2019/06/26/ ... inos-fold/

from Sinfield

"“This continues our work to renovate the squad for next season and allows us room to look at recruiting for this season and the future both in terms of the salary cap and the overseas quota,” added Sinfield."

Which is what we've been saying.
