That squad for Sunday looks strange and unbalanced to me. Dissapointed in that. Not sure why Peteru is not there considering what we need, and he is suited to that pitch. We have more second rowers in that squad than I have ever seen in any teams squad before.
Agree about Peteru maybe wrong but we seem to have ran with 3 props for the last few games.I expect Ferres to do a spell at prop.

Peteru is a waste of a quota spot. I was hoping Saints would rest players for the cup and we could knock them off, lose at London to get KR, Hudds or Wakey relegated and pinch their better players.

Just don't get running with only 1 bench prop each week when they've looked light and there's an option there with peteru. Oledzki hasnt played in weeks either so hes not going to be running at match fit. 7 backrowers in the squad (inc sutcliffe)is ridiculous.

From the 19 think we'll go with

Walker
L.Briscoe
Newman
Hurrell
Handley
Lui
Myler
Seamanufagai
Lunt
Cuthbertson
Ferres
Martin
Merrin

Subs

Dwyer
Sutcliffe
Oldezki
Donaldson

JJB has missed half of season and he's a legend of club but in these last few crunch games we need to go with our strongest 17 and he's way down the pecking order now, hopefully we have saved our skins by the time it comes to last game against wire so we can give him a good send off.

On paper our team should be good enough to do a good job on London but depends how we approach this game we start well and blow them out of park we could win between 20-30 points imo, but if we have a poor attitude towards this game like we've done against important games this season like the hull KR game at home several weeks back London are the sort of team that could turn us over which I really don't want to happen. Hopefully the team turn up Sunday ready to go and get vital 2 points that 99% makes us safe from drop.

Is Singleton still suspended? If not he’s the only prop I’d have in that team over the others.

Peteru might be called a prop but he doesn’t run like one. He’s done very little in the games I’ve seen so I can see the reasoning for going without him.

We are very short at prop. Thank god for Cuthbo and Ava.

I agree with what has been said about lack of big men but the team has obviously decided it's a plastic pitch and we need speed and mobility over size.

Have to hope it works out.

I might be in the minority but I rate Peteru, possesses a genuine go forward unlike the plodder Singleton.

Sits out his 2nd game of suspension. Peteru is no world beater in the middle but he offers more in that regard than sharing that work out between Donaldson and Ferres also more reliable than singleton and I'd be surprised to see much out of Oledzki on Sunday.

I do see a defeat coming on Sunday as it's last chance saloon for London and leeds haven't shown the mettle needed to go with a team who will roll their sleeves up for 80 minutes.

Looks like Giants are putting up a fight of their own.
