Way too early to say, we need a half, without that we'll be between 6th-8th

Expectation is that we are not involved in a relegation fight next year. Aiming for the play offs, but that's not the measure of success. I'd like to see progress and things being lined up well for 2021

It means nothing at all in reality. Who were the worst teams? Pretty sure Warrington and Catalans would be it over those 10 rounds. 3 of our games, and all wins were against those sides.

Only the full set of fixtures is a measurement of where you are.

Gotcha are you a glass half empty guy in the real world or just on here?

The full seasons results determine where you finish in the league. Leeds have gone through significant changes through the course of the season, a change of coach, some significant signings and the emergence of some home grown tallent, being three. For me the sky table is an indication that progress has been made, more is needed.

For what it's worth, going back to the expectations for 2020, I'm optimistic about how we will do next season, I think that we will finish in the top half. But i'm a glass half full guy.

I am a realist, and I have enough sense to realise that those 10 games included 2 against Catalans, and one against Warrington, whom everyone was beating over that period, hence why I asked who were the worst performers of that form league. Hence further why that period of just ten games means very little. For a start, I bet Wire win most of their first 10 games next season.

The problem is you are adding in a variable that you can’t really quantify, the simple fact is on the form of the last 10 games we were in that position it means nothing more nothing less.

It means absolutely nothing, as I said.

Why pick the last 10 games to produce this meaningless league table? Why not pick the last game of the season when he hammered Wire and therefore finished top of the league??? Is the helicopter in the air with our hub cap yet?

It's an indication that although it was a poor season, we actually finished the season in reasonable form. Given a fairly decent set of results towards the end of the season one could project some optimism onto next season.

I guess the form league indicates that Leeds were doing much better after Agar stated getting his message across, and Sinfield weeded out the bad apples and replaced them with better players.

As an optimist I would say that all of that makes me hopeful we'll have a better season next time out, though I do recognise that 10 games doesn't give a full picture, but then again a full season doesn't, due to lock off the draw, uneven fixtures and teams being understrength at various stages.

How do Leeds NOT do better next year with a developing set of young players, a couple of almost-NRL-quality players (Ava & Martin) plus a functional half back combination?

I’m expecting another couple of signings too before next year kicks off.

Although that quality across SL isn’t what it was, the margins between success and failure at this level are not massive. Change a few key players and it changes your outlook. What I do like is that the club isn’t resting back and we’re still looking to improve where we can.
