Got to admit, i didnt see it with Alex Suttcliffe until this season, he's deffinatly changing my mind. He's been great for Fev, very intelligent player, runs fantastic lines and a very good defender.

Yes we have a good problem, in that we have too many talented players for too few roles in the team.

Have to say I expect Broadbent will becomes the Leeds left centre in due course. He’s a more rounded player than Neman IMO but doesn’t have his aggression and footwork quite.

Hurrell is a funny one. When we get a more settled combination inside him it won’t hurt, he’s a player you have to cover for and not expose in D positionally. I suspect you’ll always get s bit of the brain explosion moments with him. He’s a brilliant character though. Just not convinced he’s a title winning player with his inconsistency. We’ll see over the next 2 years.

Yeah think backrow will be Suttcliffes eventual position...We'v got talent everywhere, great problem to have.

Iv got no doubt Broadbent will be one of our centres in due course, he's a natural. Joe Burtons very much the same, both more skilled, natural centres than Newman, but not the athlete he is.

I can't see Alex Sutcliffe making it at Leeds if I'm honest. Hes not a bad player, very reliable and solid, but weve better prospects than him. He will have a decent career tho at a club like Fev.

If Donaldson can get a contract there's still hope for AS imo.

Next season can’t see anyone getting past Ward, Merrin and Martin in the back row other than for injury.

Walters and Trout are lined up along with several others behind. It’s a good problem to have but you’ll have to be near international quality to get in our back row.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the potential in the new Leeds side develop over a few years. Real shame we missed Smithies because he looks a real prospect, but if our lads work hard and develop we will be looking handy soon.

I’m expecting Newman to come back bigger and he’ll cause some problems to teams.

We’ve had some tough times recently but it’s a good time to be a fan again. I suspect in a few years we’ll be having to use some marquee money on keeping the talent here.

Love the optimism KJ and I'm not going to knock it.

I do think next season will be one of steady rather than dramatic improvement though. We are probably 3 or 4 years away from this crop of kids making their mark on the team but no doubt there is cause for excitement.

Yeah agreed - to take out titles your players need to be at their peak and lads like Oledzki, Newman, Walker et al are not there yet.

It seems we’ve been struggling for years with too many players past their best, beset by injuries or poor form. The squad has had a huge overhaul and it’s great to see this new generation coming through and pushing for success again.

I still think we lack a bit of strike from range. Newman a fair way off yet. Briscoe has a serious injury to recover from also. He may take several months next year to be anything like. Priority is a 7 and prop with wings to be sorted 2021 season

I’d hope Stephens or Tindall might be knocking on the door by 2021. We do lack outright pace across the team really. We do have some first class footwork though between Walker, Newman and young Stephens coming through.
