When was the last time there was a GB/ England squad without a single Leeds player in it?

Not so long ago we could have claimed Hall (gone to Roosters), Watkins (career in freefall after injury), Ward (currently injured) and perhaps even Hardaker and Briscoe if you push back far enough. And Gale would have been in over Trueman if he was fit, at least on last form.
Looking at our squad, I'd imagine several players will wear the shirt in the future, e.g. Walker and Newman. So for me it's not necessarily a case of how bad the team is, but rather reflects the work needed to complete the development of promising youngsters, and our short-term reliance on overseas signings who constitute our best players at the moment.
