Great, just what we need!

Were just fortunate that it's come in after the clubs decided that a points deduction can only be enforced if they break the cap by a certain amount.

£10,000 doesn't seem like much of a deterrent to breaking the salary cap. Would be interesting to see when these breaks were and on who's salary!

There goes the halo...

It seems somewhat ironic that we’ve “finally” breached the cap on possibly the worst squad we’ve had since 1996...

Club statement confirms this.

No real issue, it appers to be an over site so fine seems fair.
And seen as other sides have got away with far worse .

Yep just seen that, and fair play for explaining it and it doesn't seem as bad as I first thought

Bent Yorkshire Mafia, No points just a slight fine, You couldn't make it up, Wigan where the scum of the earth for less last season, Another reason for me to hate Leeds Rhinos (The RFL's love child)

I can’t imagine it’s anything other than an administrative error however I still think salary cap breaches should be dealt with by points deductions regardless of how small the breach is.

If it’s too complicated a system for clubs to navigate and stay within the finite cap limit then the RFL needs to simplify the reporting systems. Clubs should be able to fully utilise the cap space they have.
Both Wigan and Leeds guilty of what essentially seems the same issue in consecutive years.
