RIP Hugh. As said above, top bloke.

Me and Admiral Hanson met him in the Supporters Club (I think at that legends game where Cliff Lyons was being both brilliant and hilarious. Somewhere, there's a photo of the three of us forming a front row. I'm going to see if I can find it.

Incredibly he's the 3rd former Leeds player from the 1988 GB vs Aus test to pass away.

Who’s the third Brisbane? Big Roy obviously, only other player I can think that’s passed is Mike Gregory but he never played for Leeds

Help me with my memories of Hugh Waddell as i was quite young at the time;
Think i saw him tear Leeds up whilst playing for Oldham so wasnt surprised when they signed him.
Got his Jaw broken in a really nasty challenge.. was it Nickle ? or am i getting him mixed up with Hanley ...
