We will sign a prop and a hooker before the start of the season, it’s nailed on. Prop from OZ and the Hooker from Huddersfield. One deal has already been agreed. When RM gets his PNG passport and with Peteru leaving this gives us cap space. The hooker from Huddersfield. He wants to come. They have hookers coming out of their ear holes. He wants to play for Leeds.

Is Leeming good enough? Ive not seen a lot of him if im honest. Who does he play like?

He’s another Dwyer really. So in answer, not really what we are craving.

I wonder if they view Leeming as a long term project and we can get him now. I expect Dwyer to go end of next season and we bring in a controlling experienced 9 to compliment Leeming. But you never know if we do bring in Leeming he may turn out great hes only young so lots of expected improvement ahead. I believe hudds fans rate him quite highly

I expect Dwyer also to go at the end of his contract if Leeming is brought in.I hope the plan for the future is to have Johnson has the controlling nine and use Leeming as the impact nine.

I said this before about Leeming and nobody agreed! He isn’t a structured Hooker, someone who can kick from dummy half or provides a platform! We don’t need another headless chicken explosion, I like Dwyer sometimes, he’s great from broken play and defences and rolling, but we seriously need structure! Personally I would have kept Lunt to nurture Johnson through, instead of paying for someone we don’t really want!
