Best of luck to him. He probably needed a change and at Leeds he'd continue to be 4th or 5th prop.

19 Players shipped out of the 31 squad since 2018.Sinfield is certainly the hatchet man.

Just shows how much dross we'd accumulated. Apart from a fit Watkins I can't say any of them are big losses.

What I found surprising was that he was the longest serving player at the club!
That honour now falls to Stevie Ward

Its like the 80s all over again....

Does that mean I can go back to happily supporting a team that won't win anything?

Credit to Sinfield, but he does now need to start making signings. There must be a large amount of cap space available.

Absolutely no point making panic signings though if we’re going to end up in revolving doors again. We’ve shown we can make really good mid-season signings (Ali springs to mind plus the ones from last season).

Begin with the end in mind. IF we get a player of the right quality for Leeds, absolutely. Looks like we have at least a prop and possibly another hooker coming anyway. That in mind, our squad looks competitive.

I’m just feeling very resistant to the Jordan Thompson type signing when we have good youngsters coming up.

Much will depend this year on the fitness of Gale, Ward,
Crosby. Also I’d like to see more from Oledski, Smith, Walker. Handley, Holroyd, Newman - all of whom have a lot of improvement in them and should be stepping up.

With a Kamgaroos tour next year I’d expect a fair few Leeds lads are targeting that.

Perhaps this is a made-up story, but didn't Singleton allegedly throw his toys out of the pram concerning the salaries of the marquee players at the club? If so he's going to love being in the same team with SBW!

He's just never developed the necessary physicality to develop into the pack leader he was earmarked to be.
He gave his all, but just not good enough
