Good bit of business who is v highly rated by Huddersfield fans. Leeming and Johnson could be a great partnership over the coming years. We need to be patient as hes not the finished article but he's a talent

He has to be an improvement on what we had at 9.

Ive been screaming for a proper hooker for years now, the list of dross weve had there is so long its become a joke. I dont know enough about Leeming to say hes the right man i pray he is. Dwyer off the bench and Corey backing them up for a year before moving up to number 2.

Were better at half back, hooker, back row and goalkicker than 12 months ago now and hopefully young backs like Walker, Newman and Handley can kick on again and we should be looking a better team.

Agree but we're still short on class upfront and on the wing imo to compete for trophies. Newman still a long way off a top centre but he'll get there but might be a couple of seasons. A lot of patience needed

Interesting that he has only signed a two year deal. Younger players are normally tied up for longer, especially given we have paid a fee and they have got Trout as well.

Not sure if this means Leeming is cautious of us, we are cautious of him or what.

Handing long term contracts out was part of what got us in the mess over the last few years, so I’m not surprised its only 2 years, if he goes well it can be extended

Agreed " show us what you can do in two ,then we will review" good policy keep them on their toes

So we are cautious of him then.

might be a salary cab thing, two year deal then improved deal for another two years after that
