I wouldn’t be too fussed if Thompson decided to go home and Vuniyayawa stayed though.

Why would Thompson go home with a year on his contract.He was chuffed to bits to earn some security for his family when Leeds offered him a deal.

Neither can i Martin's money will be used for Bentley Harrell's for a six.I doubt very much there will be enough cap space to sign Taupau.

Forgot about him so maybe possible i still doubt there will be enough to land Taupau unless we could get Trueman who would be cheaper contract wise than Austin Sezer and probably most NRL half's.

But involve a substantial transfer fee on top of his wages. I wouldn’t be rushing to spend that kind of fee and wages on Trueman with his ‘glass back’ and desire to go to the NRL in the near future

You are wrong in respect of pumping money in - Caddick guaranteed the overdraft but didn't put significant sums in to the Rhinos. He may have into RU via the Rhinos - did the RL side write off an i/c loan to the RU? The Rhinos paid off the overdraft out of trading.

The North stand had to be done to retain international cricket at Headingley - so not a vanity project at all. The southstand needed an overhaul it was an embarrassment to the club the state it was in.
