Expecting Briscoe, Evans, Broadbent, Hall, Donaldson, Mustapha, Walters, Johnson, O’Connor, McLelland from the first team with McConnell, Whitton, Spence from the academy, unsure who else will be involved in this one

My guess is most of the 1st 10 names you have mentioned will be playing against Fev two days earlier, with the Newcastle game likely to feature the type of players who will play for the reserves team (including maybe a handful of the young Fev lads).
Luca Atkinson Harry Anderson TJ Barton Joe Burton Oil Burton Lewis Delaney Tyler Dupree Keenan Dyer - Dixon Oliver Field Corey Hall Joe Hird Jack Mallinson Ben Mayhew Loui McConnell Muizz Mustapha Coby Nichol Rain Rowley Nathan Snee Iwan Stephens Liam Tindall Harvey Whiteley
Having some of these very young players in the line up on Friday and again Sunday is very poor planning IMO.
It does not give them the best chance to impress. Some of the bench on Friday were 16/17. Even if they sat on the bench and did not come on they would Have loaded up with carbs and used a ton of emotional energy. They can then either try and burn some off Friday night or Saturday and then try and do it again to get ready to play against men on Sunday. By which time they won’t be near in best place to play.
It all seems very amateurish to me.
Pick them in 1 squad or the other but not 2 squads in 3 days.
