Does anyone have any idea what he might have done? I’m sick of seeing people destroy him on social media, he is guilty and his name is dirt already! This is completely unfair and disgusting, everybody makes mistakes and we are all human! Keyboard warriors have no idea of the damage that they cause!

I've no idea why he has been suspended. Cannot understand why anyone would want to destroy someone on social media without knowing the full facts. Maybe we live in a society where we are all angry people and its a way of venting our anger.

You are correct keyboard warriors these little tough men hide behind their keyboards and say things that they would never say face to face. Until we know the facts it seems another person is guilty before the case is heard.

Ive no idea either.

You are both correct that this is the scourge of the modern age - Social Media, where anyone can smear away and not be held accountable.

That been said, please as always be careful about spreading any "rumours" on here.

In the real world, sticking "allegedly" in a post doesn't count as legal out, just pre-empting any possible issues.

Heard a couple of things could be ballocks but you never know with our sport:

1. He's been match-fixing, using a family member to bet on games he's been reffing.

2. Someone mentioned on another forum that the NRL had sent some Australian referees across for some experience and he's been saying stuff he shouldn't have.

If he does get found guilty of match-fixing for example, won't Leeds vs Hull FC have to get replayed? I hope nothing comes about cause I've said for years Thalers's been the best referee in Super League.

I really can't see it being a match-fixing issue.... (I'd be amazed, and massively disappointed, obviously)
I reckon Thaler has been the standout ref for years, despite what some may say on here.

I hope not either because I agree he's been the most consistent referee for years and you look at his interaction with players on the pitch he has a good relationship with them.

It’s not match fixing, but I think we should leave this here and let the RFL deal with it appropriately.
