The club have stood him down indefinitely due to his concussion issues in the past few weeks. Really hope he gets back on the mend quickly, but best thing to do with this

Heart breaking for the poor lad. Wish him all the best, and will welcome him back with open arms when he's ready.
Only sensible outcome really, we have plenty of cover at the minute and concussion can get really awful if not managed right.

I really feel for Stevie, he puts 110% in every time he plays and he doesn’t catch a break from injury, maybe his body is just meant for this anymore, that’s a horrible thing to say as he is a great player. I hope they manage to sort him out and he gets better soon. Maybe he needs to be taken out of the pack and brewed as a centre.

I watched the Dan Carter documentary this week and hearing him talk about dealing injuries really makes you step back and think. At the end of the day these are young guys at the top of their game who go to the darkest places when struck by injury. Stevie has been unlucky with the range of injuries he's had. I really hope he comes back and has a really good run in the team.

Haven't seen any official confirmation yet, but it sounds like a good move to take the pressure off Stevie. I hope he comes back and makes a go of a successful career with us, but I wouldn't blame him if he decided to call it quits and look after himself doing something different.

Awful news for Stevie, but the right move for him and the club at this stage, take the pressure of him getting back to full fitness and gives him time to have a proper think about his future, some things are just more important than a game of Rugby.

He may come back fully fit and fulfil his potential or he may decide to call it a day, either way the lad deserves the full support of the club and fans.

Makes the greenwood signing make more sense

Terrible shame for the lad. We are always a better team when he is playing. Health comes first and if he is unable to get 100% fit then someone must advise him to walk away. Here is someone who fights way above his weight and he can also be his own worse enemy, simply doesn't take a backwards step. sincerely hope he gets well and can get back o full fitness.

This is just heartbreaking for the boy .He is such a wholehearted talented player. To think he had a SL ring stolen too. I'm not going to comment on what might be . Come on Stevie we're all rooting for you

Hope he can eventually make a full recovery, one of the classiest forwards in the modern game.
