Twice this season we have been under prepared, at the start of the season when we got turned over by Hull yet by the third game we were doing well, and after the lock down we are nowhere near ready, last week against Huddersfield we were lucky to win, only playing well in the last 15 minutes and last night against Saints it showed we have not learned anything from the previous week. Unfortunately someone has to take the blame and you only have to look at the coaching and the conditioning team who candidly have little idea. They need to hold their hands up and say they got it wrong. They look so unfit it’s unbelievable, last week Lui was a disgrace for a professional sportsman, other forwards are carrying too much weight, Hurrell I’m surprised his legs can carry him. What have they been doing for the last 3 months, have they been on holiday.
Watching last night I don’t see our kids shining yet, maybe the occasion of playing Saints got to them, but it was a chance to show us some effort etc. Someone said said we had 7 injuries from last night, already we have a sick list as long as your arm. After 3 months holiday. As much as I like Ward, when fit he is a good player, it’s time we asked Ward and Crosby to stand down retire, and give them a job at the club, we cannot continue to include these within the salary cap.
Having finished my rant, this club need to make changes and fast, last night showed how far behind we are. Ell next season my not be better, the cost of the corporate tickets are likely to increase, however Leeds United are now back in the premier league, the loyalty here is entertainment, would you buy a table of 10 at Headingley or a table of 10 at Elland rd, I hope GH you and your team are watching this, failure to prepare is prepare to fail.

Fair comment re being under prepared twice this year. That’s down to coaching simple as

It's not how you start it's how you finish. Is that the saying? Any team can lose their first game it doesn't automatically mean a failure to prepare.I agree on the conditioning point though.Could you imagine bielsa picking a playing who had shown up 5 kilos over weight? I appreciate some of the big lads have big appetites and find it hard to shed the weight but lui, hurrell and ava have let the club down imo.

Bit harsh in hurrell seeing as he's just lost his mum

There’s no doubt Agar and his staff haven’t done a very good job in getting us ready for the re start but let’s not go over the top with criticism on some of the players. Get behind them and we’ll get back on track. There’s lots of work to do but you can’t knock the squads attitude up to last night.

My thoughts are as follows
It's was a poor performance
Must people accepted we be some way off challenging the season
We've lost by 50 to the team that's streets ahead of the rest, with half a team out

We're about where is expect us to be after the last couple of years debarcles

Even the 2004 Leeds team took a heavy beating to Saints. We'll get past it

So true.
If anyone can find the archive of the meltdown going on in this place from April 30th 2004 or from 9th July 2005 I'll buy them a cardboard cut out of a group of pisshead fans doing a conga in Perpignan.

That 2004 Team was full of home grown talent & good to top quality signings though.
They also had a quality Coach & despite defeats anyone could see there was a very good Team & good planning wrt recruitment & retention.
Just for some comparison Adamson Mcdonald Franny Cummings & Dunneman couldnt get in that 17 all of them walk into our current 1st choice 17.
Also the likes of the Briscoes Evans Lui Crosby Donaldson wouldnt even be at the Club.

Apparently this was our first home nilling in the superleague era. I think that speaks volumes about the current state of this current set up. We looked clueless from start to finish, but worse than that we didn't look bothered about the tonking being dished out to us. I struggle to remember a worse performance.

Weve had far worse performances against a lot worse opposition in the last few years IMO
