Can we start an Agar out thread yet or not?

Does anyone actually think we're going to progress forward with Agar as manager? A win here and there isn't going to do it.

I think there is already one, i think it was started as satire though ;-)

We’ve already progressed with him as coach, we were in a right state when he took over, I realise its hard for some to look passed the last game but we look far better than when he took over, I don’t think long term he is the man for us but then I don’t think the club think so either

Not sure how any coach would have got a significantly better result with the players he had available. When we get some of the key injured players back plus possibly 2 more decent signings I’ll be happy to judge his ability. Until then we will struggle against the top 2 or 3 teams.

So that team we put out was worse than Salford's
We should have gone for Watson, the best current coach for getting the best out of average performers.

To be honest yes I think it was a worse team than Salford. A few players back though can make a huge difference.

Hurrell, for example, (for all the faults he may have) is always dangerous and sides have to put more defenders on him. He can score from nothing and that can have a massive impact on the game. Put him, Ward Walker and 1 or 2 others in and it turns an average team into a good one.

It's not that one man makes all the difference but one piece of brilliance can just lift a team, give the half backs a tiny bit more time and space and get the forwards on the front foot etc.

We need to add to the squad and have some luck keeping players fit.

I don't think many coaches would have got a significantly better result with the team we had out against the team that Saints had out that were looking very good.
