Absolutely brilliant game. The absolute highest level of RL. Refereed very well too with hardly any penalties so was such a good watch

Penrith playing a level of RL I’ve not seen before. Absolute joy to watch. They have strike players in practically every position!

I agree, it was one sided, but that was to be expected with the class this Leigh side have assembled. :thumb:

No point raising the cap if the money isn't there to justify it. The NRL made a $43m profit last season and I think that's increased to around $50m this season. The clubs themselves are also very financially secure.

Appreciate that mate but we need to increase it somehow. I'm not saying a huge amount immediately but it has to go up. It's been stale for a while, it's not working and the gap is getting wider and wider to the NRL. We will lose most of our best players if this continues as it is. On a wider issue of course we need to generate more finance into the game as a whole, hopefully that will come in time on the back of the IMG recommendations.
