IIRC Wane inherited a pretty good Wigan team also.I doubt he would have done any better than what Agar has done so far I remember footage of him on You tube giving an half time team talk he hardly installed me with confidence that he was a great coach.

Interesting. I just don't see Agar as a coach to win super league with though. Think he's done brilliant job, but no the man to take us to the next level.....
Wane has some serious pedigree...

This is a diferent job though. The others inherited a team of once in a generstion players, we don't have that luxury. Wane's a winner and pretty ruthless. Would be a massive appointment....

Wane inherited some pretty good players and also players he had coached through the system, being a successful coach with one club doesn’t automatically mean success with another, how did Tim Sheens get on?

Ager and Sinfield already seem to be moving forward with the club rebuild, so it would be odd if Ager were to leave half way through.

That's like saying you wouldn't want Wayne Bennett, or Pep Guardiola in football terms!

Agar diesnt really want to be a head coach and I think he has done what we asked of him now. He'd rather be overseeing things again.....

Yeh lets go for Wane and watch boring , thuggery , bending the rules garbage :DEPRESSED:

Or lets go the Leeds way playing exiting attacking rugby .No Agar may not be the future but Wane certainly is not the man for Leeds .

No it’s not ,it’s simply saying previous success doesn’t always mean success in future roles.

I wouldn’t want Wane because I’m not a fan of his style, regardless of what he won with Wigan.

Wayne Bennett! Lay off the cooking sherry. Agar is doing OK. The Rugby, which is the most important thing, has come on a lot under him. He's already put one pot on the sideboard ahead of schedule. As for not wanting to be a head coach, he might not of fancied the shambles he inherited, but he seems pretty comfortable with his lot at present. As do Sinfield, Hetherington and the players.

Give Agar a chance. He hasn't done anything wrong yet

I've heard from two sources now that Agar is looking to move upstairs again, and the club will obviously support that as he did them a massive favour, coming in as he did....
Agar as head coach was never the long term plan.
