Why did they take the two?

Reminded me of when Wigan did it in GF 2015. It let us catch our breath and regroup when we were looking very shaky.

mellor cutting through the salford defense at will today. Thought the thomson red was a bit harsh. didnt see him throw any punch?

Don’t know why he didn’t just put it down straight away!

King is going well, were creating a lot of breaks, Myler having a great game, good to see Tommy back out there.

Didn`t think Thompson connected in that flare up but would have received a ban for the off the ball incident.
If you are getting sent off these days for throwing a punch then Burgess should have gone for his powder puff attempt on Thompson.
Anyhow moving on, Mellor and Myler both very good so far.
How slow is Tom Briscoe ?
Lets hope those backing up from Friday last the pace in the second half.
