Even if they play us Sunday they probably aren't going to get a better chance all year of beating us, we'll be under prepared and short on Numbers even on the Sunday, they'd be better playing it rather than postponing it IMO.

Well with eight unavailable on Fri with Covid, five called up for international duties and up to eight players injured we are left with little option but to postpone if the match can't be delayed until Sunday. Can we legally play our u17/19 side against Salford?

How many months could this game have been moved to the Sunday? We are now on Tuesday afternoon and nobody knows when or if it will be played.

What a total farce.

To be fair it's only the Covid thing which has messed it up, from Leeds POV anyway. Given we have a game next Thursday moving to Sunday isn't ideal. We were ok to play Friday without just the five international players according to KS but add on the Covid missing and it's impractical.

There shouldn't have been any SL games this weekend in the first place though.

Its the Covid situation that's caused this not the international game.

Credit to Leeds, Huddersfield and Warrington for releasing the full number of players requested of them (max. of five) for the England game. The other clubs... well some may not have had five worth it but we can clearly see those who place their own self interest first, and it's not a surprising list.

Sunday 1pm.

Its not just the Covid thing. Months ago Leeds and Salford knew this game clashed with the England game, anyone with half a brain wouldve rescheduled then.

If there were no covid issues the game would be going ahead without any issues. The clubs knew they would be releasing some players but we simply cannot get a team out with the covid issue.

I do however agree that no games should have been scheduled, we should have a blank weekend for internationals.

We should have a fixed International weekend in the year every year but that's a different matter.
