Agreed. Mik, Prior, Holroyd and King are our out and out props with Tetevano able to do it from 13 as well. So we have 5 with Thompson cover as no. 6.
Some strong stuff from Agar post game where he implied he was disappointed in the efforts from some and some “really poor performers”.
Although we have some very promising young players not all will make it.
Ah but Prior has a great pass on him and a good engine, can slot in nicely at 13 for me. Tet isn't quite big enough for prop IMO. Thompson again is neither one nor the other.
Mik and Holroyd are outright props, which I'm delighted about with both being academy lads. Just what we needed. King I think is more agile prop than slightly cumbersome back rower, I'd keep him direct.
If we keep King and Prior, I can live with our pack for 2022. If either or both goes, we need that Taupau-type signing who can skittle the opposition a bit, and share the workload with Mik and Tommy who are still developing.
What I will say is that this Leeds pack at times this season has looked better than it has for a very long time indeed. Walters, Gannon, O'Connor, Bentley, Mik, Holroyd and even Smith are still of an age where you'd expect them to get better too.

Take your points but we can’t play prior and zane at 13. Think zane can do a decent job at prop at SL level as few teams have 4 good ones.
For mine Mik and prior with zane at 13 and Holroyd and king off the bench against the better, bigger teams.

I agree with all other than Tetevano not being big enough for prop 6ft 1 and 17st 7lb is plenty big enough. He hits hard and is explosive in the tackle.
They are both props or middles (I don’t like that word to be honest)
Got me our issue is who we play at 13 and more what type of player we use at 13. I think Smith is and should be our 13. That way you have Mik, Tommy, Prior and Zane. I would personally use Zane and Tommy from the bench.
Second part of that is to have an 80 minute 9 which allows you another option on the bench.
8.Mik 9. leeming 10.Prior 11. Mellor 12.Bentley 13. C.Smith
14. Zane 15. Tommy 16. Gannon 17. Walters/King
That is big enough and strong enough for me. The only change I would make is against a big big team I would put Zane at 13 and Smith on the bench instead of Walters maybe keep king instead of Gannon. Depends how Gannon develops but I think he will put on serious size

I expect Gannon to turn into a prop in due course. Reminds me of Adrian Morley a bit and I think he'll go the same way.
Mik/Prior and Zane/Tom is a good combination, whichever two you choose to start with. I think part of the rationale playing Zane at 13 is honestly to extend his time on the field to get more value for money.
I agree with you I'd rather see a proper ball playing forward at 13 and Cam is your man. He's also a big lump so keeps our middle tight.
Not sure whether Bentley is a better player than Martin. In some ways probably. Martin is very good when he's in form though, he just had a dodgy period due to Covid I think and he looks through that.
False economy for me playing Zane at 13, the team has been crying out for a player to add real impact, you water that down with the minutes at 13 but get game changing value with shorter stints. We don’t want him to just graft that’s not his main skill set.
