Yeah super news. Yesterday they announced Gannon's 18th birthday and Tommy is only 20. Remarkable how young these lads still are.

If Tommys hand and wrist can hold together hes going to be a great player for Leeds for many years to come. Hes an outstanding prospect and a smashing kid.

Yes made no secret of how highly I rate Tom, I’m over the moon with this.

Going to take another couple of years to show what he can do at open age. Ideally Corey Johnson develops into our first choice 9 and we have a fantastic front row there.

I’d be surprised if Newman wasn’t announced over the next few weeks.

Excellent news.He should be with Oledzki the cornerstone of the pack for years.We now need new deals for Newman and Gannon.

Great news. Apparently there's a fair few more to be announced very shortly. Good news that the club aren't leaving question marks over the squad during next season with regards to who is going or staying. Sets the foundations nicely.

Great - hopefully that means news on the likes of Jack Broadbent too.

I'll give the club this: they walk the talk when it comes to putting their faith in youth development. Last thing we want to do is leave the young talent to NRL poachers in particular - looking after the lads pro-actively builds trust and commitment.

Hope my optimism isn't misplaced I am getting a feeling of something special to come in the next few years, there's some real talent coming through!

Really excited for the upcoming season, if Austin and Sezer stay fit and click I think with the youngsters being another year on we could have a real crack

Agree Chris. Hoping for a big season from Tet too. Just a shame we look a good prop light. Having said that, if they play Tet as a prop most weeks (which is his best position imo) we don't look too bad as we'll have Mik, Tet, Prior, Holroyd, Thomson.

Either way, looking forward to it.
