The discrepencies - such as they were - happened in the PL and they were relegated so deducting more points would have made no difference to their situation.

If Leeds don't up this year there will have be some significant departures to comply as the parachute payments fall dramatically.

I`m sure they cheated this year as already mentioned delaying sending in their accounts late which in turn would delay their punishment.
What I don`t understand is why there isn`t any transparency when teams do breach the rules.
For instance late submission of accounts docked 2 points
30-50 million overspend 4 points
51- 60 million 5 points
Increasing by a point for each 10 million overspend and doubled if you exceed 100 million.
All points deducted in the season where the overspend takes place.
So accounts submitted January 31st points deducted 1st Feb.
No appeals allowed.
Or is that too simplistic?

Going for my hattrick of replies to Zoo Zoo here.
Not only will we have to sell players we also have to pay out near on 70 million in transfer fees by the end of June regardless if we go up or not.
The only good thing if we do go up apart from the additional income is we can sell the likes of Harrison as staying in the Championship allows players like him to continue to go out on loan therefore not bringing in any income.

of course players would go.
summerville, gnonto, gray, creswell, meslier and rutter would bring in around £130m.
more than enough to rebuild.
I would expect rodon, Roberts and chair from qpr to sign. plus others of course.plus farke gets a proper pre season.

We’re absolutely f*cked if we don’t go up this season.

I’ve tried to tell myself that with the 49ers in charge cream would rise eventually if not this year because they would make solid footballing decisions.

But we are about to get screwed by a hangover of the previous regimes’ decisions. Asserts will have to be sold and the parachute payments will all be used up trying to stay within FFP , then once they are gone you’re trapped again.

Orta should be up on war crimes.

Not a chance. We’d be lucky to get close to a 100 and any money we do bring in will be needed to balance books for FFP rather than rebuilding.

summerville and gray £40m each. that comes from someone at leeds.
rutter £20-£25m. they were offered £25m in the summer.

So the game on Saturday is a bit non-fixture and they do have a further week until the playoffs - does Farke play a full strength side and hope for a miracle from Huddersfield or does he rest players in the hope they will be fresh and ready to go next week?

Imagine he rests players, we draw or lose and Ipswich lose.

We also need our best players to get some confidence and momentum back.

sure it will as strong as he can. despite going to 25 games this year nightmare getting a ticket. some members been once and got tickets. hopefully the loyal supporters get first crack at play offs/wembley

I understand what your saying but at the same time, some fans might think its unfair that you managed to get to 25 games when they've struggled to get tickets most weeks.

I've got tickets for tomorrow, this will be my 5th game of the season, would like to have got to more but a combination of not been able to get tickets and not been able to attended have stopped me.
