Blackfish..9/10

A brilliant, sad and disturbing documentary about the lives of killer whales in Seaworld parks. From footage of their capture off Iceland and British Columbia, to the training methods used by Seaworld, and they still can't understand why these cuddly creatures have killed 3 trainers.

Got the Hollywood version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo this week, so will be watching it at the weekend no doubt. Not sure how it will compare to the original though, which I thought was great and would score at 8.5/9 out of 10.

The original is better, but the remake is good.

Prisoners 8/10..
Closed Circuit. 8/10... Would have got more if it wasn't for the soppy ending

Convoy, 10 out of 10, one of Sam Peckinpahs greatest movies, CB's, big trucks, tasty muusic, excellent characters, whats not to like, the fight scene alone is worth the money, you just can't beat movies from the seventies imo

Sunshine On Leith - Yes, the plot is signposted and there are a few cringe moments during the songs, but you really would need a heart of stone not to gain some enjoyment from it - Of course, a liking for the music of The Proclaimers will help, but switch the cynical part of your brain off and you have a decent film...7/10.
