An Oasis fan slating other artists/bands has to be one of the biggest ironies ever, considering Oasis are one of the most over-rated, one-trick-pony acts of all time??....



As for your rants, I agree that Jessie J has been elevated into her present status by a lot of UK industry bigwigs, who wanted to create their own Katy Perry/Pink type act, but as for Perry, I don't quite get your gripe - I don't think she has ever set out to be any more than what she is, which is a bubblegum pop act who does passable pop tunes which appeal to a mainstream market.... Personally, there are, and have been over the years, pop acts who are a lot worse than her.

I disagree, but that's the beauty of a democracy, right?

I don't like pop music either particularly, and wouldn't spend my own money on buying it - but I can say for sure that I don't hate any of the people that make it. People that buy it on the other hand...

Don't like pop music? Are you kidding? My CD collection is full to bursting with pop music, mainly 80s and 90s synth and electro with a dash of current synth, electro and indie pop.

The reason I don't like the artists I listed is simple; I find them annoying, I find their music annoying, I find their fans annoying and I find the whole media circus that surrounds them annoying (with the exception of status Quo obviously, their music is just crap!). It would be nice to browse social media one day and not have to see stupid words like 'Directioners' and 'Beliebers'.
