I know metal is not everybody's cup of tea but today the great guitarist of Slayer has passed away at the age of 49.

A sad loss to his family, friends and Metal community.

Wow, I'm shocked. Slayer have been one of my favourite bands for years. 49 is no age at all.

RIP Jeff and thanks for Raining Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss, three of the finest albums I've had the privilege of listening to.
