Tony smith does seem to be going about it the right way, off loading gleeson and reardon who thought they were above the coach shows who is boss, very brave and the right decesion in my mind

Shows what a good job he did for them. Smith seems to be bringing the curse he inflicted on England to the Dire. They've gone backwards since he joined, perhaps due to the upheavel he has caused. When you go from having a laugh in training till 12 then hitting the bar to training your guts up till 4 it can be a shock to the system. Perhaps this is a backlash to this.

Also is Lowes still hanging around there? If so, they need him gone, you can't have two leaders as they will pull in different directions and score points against each other. It never works.

Perhaps the funds left over from the 'Goon Aid' fund in recent seasons can be redirected towards the Dire and helping out the humanitarian crisis developing down Winwick Road.
