Last friday was the Ormskirk Rugby (Union) end of season bash and I booked the legend Tommy as guest speaker.
A couple of weeks before, Tommy rang me to say that he's been booked into hospital that very day for an operation on his hand, but not to worry, he wouldn't let me down. Sure enough, he turned up, bandaged and iodine stained, but still managed to get his bow tie on and do his turn.
He was thouroughly entertaining and went down very well with the crowd, i can highly recommend him if anyone is planning an event. Our friend on the site Doogal can put you in touch.
