fill in the blanks

To all the people who can Quest like A Tribe does
Before this, did you really know what live was?
Comprehend to the track, for it's why cuz
Gettin measures on the tip of the vibers
Rock and roll to the beat of the funk fuzz
Wipe your feet really good on the rhythm rug
If you feel the urge to freak, do the jitterbug
Come and spread your arms if you really need a hug
Afrocentric living is a big shrug
A life filled with *HORN* that's what I love
A lower plateau is what we're above
If you diss us, we won't even think of
Will Nipper the doggy give a big shove?
This rhythm really fits like a snug glove
Like a box of positives is a plus, love
As the Tribe flies high like a dove

I think you will find its not so much the weather, but the slowing down of the play the balls thats killing our open style of rugby. If it gets any worse we might as well call it a hybrid form of rugby union.

Maybe. Refs are prone to allow slower tackles in the rain, but I didn't see that as the problem tonight. When we had the ball, we just looked clueless. At first we tried to pass it and dropped it, and then we stopped passing it and discovered that you can't just barge your way over like some sort of park game. Our kicking game was utter pants (not just at goal), and we looked so slow I thought we were Bradford when Atkins and then Wilkin made their breaks. None of that is much to do with slow PTBs.

Tonight showed that Wilkin is no 7.

Wilkin had 1 good game at 7 and that was a freak of a game.

He wouldn't make a scrumhalf as long as he lives.

That's all I'm saying on wilkin as most know what I think of him

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

A Saints win would have been better for us tonight, but Brough and Obst kicked you to death.

Saints lacked a leader, someone with the nous to play the game at the right end of the park.

You had enough experience out there to do it, but maybe not the right man. The young second rowers tried hard but struggled (understandably) and the loss of Lomax made it hard for you to change things.

Can't argue with any of that.

You mean it's killing our ability to run from dummy half.

I think the rain affects our kick returns a great deal.

Neither winger is particularly confident under the kick which means we let the ball run further than other teams do as they dilly dally before picking up the ball, and Wellens is as slow as they come these days. This means that on most kick returns we're starting the set a good 10 metres further back than we could/should be.

Is there any reason why we would ask Wello to kick a last minute, pressure penalty when the guy hasn't kicked a goal all evening? ? ?

Stupid decision if you ask me, if he has missed 5 kicks before the last minute, then what suddenly makes him good enough at kicking, to slot over a last minute equalising goal.

Bizarre.

Nobody asked him to mucker, he said he is kicking on friday night, and thats what he did. The guy put his hand up and just went on with it, maybe he should have bailed after kick 4 or 5, but by this time and with the kick being EASY , he just continued onwards with the job he said he would do, unfortunatley it wasnt his night. Still got a massive willy though.
