I felt a bit sorry for Veivers, it seemed harsh to get rid of him after only 5 games - especially since he stuck with us through all the financial problems, and the Shaun McRae/Matt Parrish lark. Maybe he could've done better though when we had the likes of Holdsworth, Patten and Smith. And losing 38-4 at home to London

He was probably gonna go anyway at the end of this season too, along with maybe a mass change of players. Why wait 'til then to replace him if you can get the replacement you want in much earlier.
This season was always going to be a write-off. I'm saving any proper judgement of Koukash and Noble until well into next season.
