The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I have thought for a while that Flash has been a victim of bad coaching. He needs to play some big minutes and start matches. He does not have the biggest impact per minute but he can keep going the whole game. Using him for 15 mins off the bench is a waste of time.

Brown last season for a short while until he picked up an injury had Flash working the right edge and was getting Makinson away on a cut back inside run, his attack dried up after that, for me he's not going to break through tackles and really needs to be used on set plays.
We don't doubt his defensive capabilities despite his size and weight, like other people have said he tidy's things up defensively, a little bit underrated at times and you can,t knock him for effort.

Our pack is looking good now, lots of graft between them and a fully functioning unit ready for the business end. KC has used the bench well lately, just need to more consistent on defence, we will have to wait and see on that one.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

As well as a great win on the night.

That was a pretty good win in terms of making life a heck of a lot more difficult for Wire to get into the top 4.

Sure they could go on a blistering run in the super 8's and make the top 4. But I'd imagine in the super 8's even the best side will lose 1 or 2 games. As seen as there are only 7 games to play with, it maybe a bridge too far for Warrington this year.

But come the super 8's they could be 6 points and a big points difference behind 4th spot.

Indeed. This is one of the best features of the new system, and one which has been underexplored in the media coverage of the season. If Wire were in a similar situation under last year's rules, they'd have nothing to worry about at all. As it stands, they're a hair's breadth from falling out of the race for the title. And that's the way it should be.

I dont,t think one or two wire fans have grasped the format, on there forum there was a suggestion of resting players next week ready for the 8's. If Wire lose against Castleford next week then they would have to more or less win all the 7 games for 36 points. Leeds, Wigan and Saints could get that by just winning 3 or 4 games closely followed by Huddersfield (on big points difference).
At the moment if Huddersfield win at Catalans, then the final 4 could be Leeds, Saints, Wigan and Huddersfield. For Warrington could be daju vu there year "next year".

It's not that we are necessary any weaker with Walmsley and Amor off because most sides struggle to match with their first string forwards what we churn up with our second. Our achilles heel is the same as any other big pack's : stamina.

Giant props burn up fuel quicker than smaller ones. It's the reason we invariably struggle between 40mins and 60mins when our bigger guys are fighting to get their second wind.

Leeds have done well against us by keeping the ball in play for longer which really does empty the petrol tanks. This is not to say we can't turn the tables. It's just that so far we haven't found the right tactical plan to pit our strengths against their weaknesses. Nor should we, I might add. No trophies for winning a league encounter.

For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

Flash had a great game last night but in all honesty he has been mediocre all season.

Mose showed what we will miss next year.

Robes tremendous as ever.

Well it was a brief spell at the top.

I'm guessing Leeds have gone all out this week so they can rest up next week, ready for the semi-final.

Flanagan has similar stats from a game against Wigan a couple of years ago IIRC. Would be hard to reproduce week after week in fairness, but certainly someone worth having around, a bit of a Wilkin-Lite if you will.

Westwood was mentioned earlier and he did have a nightmare. He actively avoided Masoe when he took the hit-up for the try - he took half a step towards him and then backed off leaving Mose one-on-one with Ratchford. Never seen that from him before.
