I've very little confidence of a win against Leeds on Friday given our performances to date, especially since Leeds seem to have hit form (Damn! Couldn't they have waited another couple of weeks!). And I'm not talking about our youngsters either. If it was just the youngsters who were dropping balls and making errors and showing no flair in attack then I wouldn't be concerned: that's all part of learning the trade. But our senior players (with individual exceptions in individual matches) are playing in a similar fashion and so I have very little confidence of a win against Leeds on Friday.
I'm still going to the match, though, and will be cheering and shouting and generally doing my thing as usual.
I'd be happy at this stage in the season just to watch a match in which we show something of the qualities we had last season. After all, we're pretty much the same team.
