Wigan : Thu Apr 09, 2009 9:25 pm
Due to my stupid, irrational, offensive, insulting, unfriendly and frankly wrong banning from the Wigan forum, I would like to post here that I thought they were superb tonight. All heart tonight and you get the feeling that they may in fact have a future in games against us if the likes of Ainscough, Tomkins and co are allowed to push the dross (E.g Fielden who was embarassing again tonight) out of the side. They should release all their NRL players too as they are not good enough to play for them and focus on bringing the kids through. Prescott looks better than Fatty Feka already and why are the likes of Lu Lu and Phelps denying a Wiganer a shirt? They aren't good enough.

 Thanks for the effort lads. Wigan would have been excused for throwing in the towel as they've done so many times in recent seasons, but not tonight. I for one applaud that. They've clearly got a few problems with playing staff in key positions but the heart is there and the youngsters are a glimpse of a less painful future for them.

75-0 thats a record score... 16 yrs of misery, gone in 80 minutes
If God took up rugby league then his name would have been Vollenhoven with AJ Murphy along too

Agree yet they are sending the very promising Lee Mossop on loan to a NL club ffs, they should be sending Phil Bailey out on a permanent loan to anyone who will take him.

Have to admit from the third min onwards Wigan went out of their way to take the game to us. Credit where it's due if they can show that same kind of fire for the rest of the season then there is no reason why they should not be challenging for at least ninth spot

Only kidding. Show that same kind of fire and you have fith place locked up 8)

It's not down to "who deserves it " it's down to points at the end of the game and 19 - 12 is a winning margin even if it was a win by 1 point .... now sod off back to whatever yorkshire hovel you came from :x :x

I always thought that when it was level at 6-6, they looked the more likely to score. Wigan failed to take their chances tonight and it cost them.
